Oh Captain, my Captain Canucks - Web 2.0 Summit Canadian round up

Unfortunately even with my identification of a few incognito Canadians on the Web 2.0 attendee list, Canada was one attendee shy of being the 2nd largest country in attendance at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco last week.
The top five countries in attendance were,
#1 United States: 915 | #2 United Kingdom: 42 | #3 [...]

I’m having great conversations with various friends, venture capitalists, [...]

By the end of the day, we had a conversation going with [...]

There’s gold in them thar crowds - goldsourcing?

BLOGGER ETHICAL DISCLOSURE: I find gold jewelry looks tacky on me and I refuse to wear it. This opinion in no way influenced this article.
I come from a large family. I have seven siblings and by the time I was a teenager the idea of a family vacation where all ten of [...]

Change the World, Win a Prize, Step right up…2007 TEDPrize winners

Attending the TED conference is the highlight of my conference year. The environment, people, discussions and speakers are all incredible. Years ago I spoke at the TEDCity conference in Toronto which was an incredible experience. Attending these last two years in Monterey has been a mind opening experience.

I blame Chris Anderson and [...]
